So... When I'm shooting landscapes, where should I focus, to get a good sharpness?

That depends on what aperture and where you want your main subject to be located. I personally shoot at F/11 or F/16 to ensure that just about everything is in focus, but it also depends on where it's located. Or if its just one big seen I would normally focus about 1/3 the way up.

You may want to also look into a DOF calculator as this will break everything down for you as to see how much of an area will be in focus.
